our story, served fresh

hello again!

over the past few months, we’ve been quietly working on some fresh ideas, all built on our original values.

on the 1st of july we reopened our doors. we look a little different, taste a little different, and sound a little different, all while still feeling very familiar.

welcome to our new cafe and wine bar, and find out what we’re all about.

Partnering with The Brew Project

speciality coffee

for 20 years The Taproom has served St Ives with coffee. to build on this, we have invested in a new coffee machine, milk supplier, and now partner with Brew Project for our coffee beans.

the Cambridge-based roastery is founded by coffee enthusiast Jonny Bescoby.

we use their Guatemalan coffee beans that are sourced via ethical, sustainable farming practices.

our coffee profile is a lighter-medium roast, designed to bring out those sweet, chocolatey undertones.

Specialist spirits

specialist pours

alongside our house classics, we partner with unique, independent spirits brands that are ingredient-led, sustainably minded, bold in flavour, and crafted in small batches — including Vault Aperitivo and Cambridge-based State of Rum.

with a curated menu of signature cocktails, we serve up timeless favourites with a twist.

Mise En Place

quality local ingredients

all our food is freshly prepared and made in house. we take care in the sourcing of our products, with most produce and ingredients coming to us as locally as possible.

we believe that great food starts with exceptional ingredients, and our menus are a celebration of the produce the land and seas have to offer.

meet the team behind our new refined menu — chefs James Heffer, Attila Boros, and Dan Gallimore! with a passion for creativity and bold flavours, they’re redefining our brunch offering.. come taste the difference.

we’ve been featured in Cambridge Foodies!
